1. What These Terms Cover

These Terms govern your use of transducemedia.com, its documentation site (docs.transducemedia.com), and any purchase made through our store. Your use of the Transduce software itself is governed separately by the EULA.md, which you agree to at installation.

2. No Account Required

There is no user account system for purchasing or using Transduce. Your license is a signed file tied to the email address you purchase with — see EULA.md Section 2. Keep your license file and the email account you purchased with secure; anyone with access to either could access your license.

3. Purchases and Payment

• Purchases are processed through Polar Software Inc ("Polar.sh"), acting as Merchant of Record — Polar handles payment processing and tax/VAT compliance for the sale. We do not receive or store your full payment card details; that's handled entirely by Polar.
• Prices are listed in USD and may change; the price in effect at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.
• All purchases are one-time — there is no subscription, and nothing auto-renews or bills you again.

4. License Delivery

Upon successful payment, a signed license file is generated automatically and emailed to the address you purchased with (see EULA.md Section 2 for what it covers). If you don't receive it, contact us (Section 12).

5. Refunds

See REFUND_POLICY.md for the full policy. In short: 14-day money-back window from date of purchase, subject to the conditions in that document.

6. Acceptable Use of the Website

You agree not to: attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or store, interfere with the site's normal operation, scrape content at scale without permission, or use the site for any unlawful purpose.

7. Community Modules and User Content

If a future version of the site hosts a module marketplace or catalog (AI2Film_Specification.md §16 describes this as planned, not yet built), separate terms will govern submitting or downloading community modules through it. Until that exists, this section is a placeholder — remove or expand it once the catalog ships.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on transducemedia.com and docs.transducemedia.com (excluding user-submitted community modules, once those exist) is owned by FxTrak Inc or its licensors. You may not reproduce or redistribute it without permission, beyond normal browsing/personal use.

9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The website and store are provided "as is." [Same standard disclaimer language as EULA.md Sections 8-9 — keep these consistent when both get attorney review; duplicating slightly different liability caps across documents is a common, avoidable source of confusion/conflict.]

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted with an updated effective date. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of California — same jurisdiction as EULA.md Section 12, kept consistent deliberately.
